ABOUT THE RACE
Our event is loosely based on the Amazing Race Reality TV show. Participants are given clues and you must drive, walk or run to different locations around Durham Region and perform different tasks. Tasks can include roadblocks and detours, just like in the TV show. Upon successful completion of a task, you will be given your next clue or destination. We provide maps and directions to all the locations and include any money needed for particular legs of the race. I can't give away too many details but you won't have to eat anything too gross or fly in any planes. You may have to go on a scavenger hunt, talk to strangers, or get a little silly but that's about the extent of things. If you have strong navigational skills and quick wit you will be just fine. We will provide everything you need for a great day including some AMAZING prizes!!!!! Further details and information will be shared as we finalize the course. It's all in good fun but remember to register early... as the last team to arrive...MAY be eliminated!

$25/adult team member
$10/child (under 16 years old)
There is no size restriction on teams however, teams must include at least 1 member who is 18 years or older and teams must be able to fit into one car safely (i.e. all members must have a seatbelt). The Race is a family oriented event however, parents and caregivers are responsible for the safety and well being of children at all times.
Date: Saturday, August 26th, 2017.
Location: The race starts at the Pickering Christian School (162 Rossland Rd. E, Ajax)
Time: Check in starts at 9:00am. Race goes from 9:30am-12pm.
